Broccoli Dashboard > Settings > On-Call Scheduler
The On-Call Scheduler lets you assign managers and technicians to specific dates so your team is ready to respond to emergency or callback notifications based on your Notification Settings.
How to configure:
1. In the Broccoli dashboard, click the Settings dropdown.
2. Select On-Call Scheduler
3. You’ll see a calendar view. Click the + icon on any date to add an on-call assignment.
4. A pop-up will appear. Complete the following:
- Select a Role: Manager or Technician
- Choose a Department
- Select an Employee from the dropdown
5. Click Add Assignment to save.
You can assign both a manager and a technician on the same day, or just one role if preferred. (For information about how the different roles receive notifications, you can visit the Notifications guide)
To remove someone from the on-call schedule:
- Click the X icon on their name on the date you wish to remove them.
💡 Additional Tips:
• Assignments are added one date at a time.
• Use the > icon in the top right of the calendar to navigate to future months and plan ahead.
This setup ensures your team knows who’s responsible and available—so customer follow-up doesn’t fall through the cracks.
*Note: These are the Broccoli SMS and voice numbers that technicians, on-call managers, etc. will receive emergency notifications from. We recommend saving these as 'Broccoli' in your contacts.
