How to forward inbound calls to your AI CSR agent

Your agent lives behind a dedicated phone number that you'll find in your Broccoli dashboard under Calls on the left hand side.




To connect your customers with your agent, you’ll forward calls from your current provider to the agent phone number. Most phone providers allow you to choose when and how calls are forwarded, whether it’s only during overflow, after hours, or for all calls. This may be through an online portal or you may need to contact your current phone provider.

While this varies by phone provider, the simplified process is usually comprised of these steps:

  1. Locate call forwarding settings in your phone system or admin portal.

  2. Enter the AI agent’s phone number as the forwarding destination.

  3. Choose your forwarding rules (all calls, after hours, overflow, etc.).


Campaign Tracking

Since the calls will be forwarded to Broccoli, the source of the number will still be tracked in the proper campaign.
